Curious and Pragmatic Senior Electric Motor Test Bench Engineer

We are putting together a team to build a new innovative product that will excite the market. You will be part of a unique team to develop a product that the market has never seen before.

In a global market-leading company project, you will be the motor control and power drive system test bench, specialist. The task is to build a test bench that enables the automation of manual testing procedures.



Your profile should include the following:

- M.Sc Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Strong interest in both hardware and software verification
- Working knowledge of power electronics and VFDs (1-44 kW)
- Working knowledge of 3-phase motors; both induction motors (IM) and permanent magnet synchronous motors (PMSM)
- Experience designing automated electronic test equipment
- At least 3-5 years of relevant industry experience
- Knowledge of test automation, using scripting languages (e.g., Python and LabVIEW)
- Knowledge of and experience with computer hardware, communication, and bus protocols, for example, RS485, Ethernet, and USB
- Familiarity with electronic circuits and experience with high voltage environments
- Familiarity with National Instruments I/O Systems (PXI, cDAQ)
- Experience with Yokogawa Power Analyzer or similar equipment
- Experience with NI LabView, NI Test-Stand
- Electrical Lab skills (DMMs, Power Supplies, Oscilloscopes, Logic Analyzers, Electrical safety precautions)
- Basic knowledge of Industrial controls, analogue and digital I/O, communications protocols such as Modbus or Profibus
- You should have excellent communication skills, and you should have experience from working in agile teams
