Custodian/Lokalvårdare

BASIC FUNCTION OF POSITION:
Cleaning area: The incumbent of this position is one in the team of 3 custodians and 1 custodian supervisor. The job duties involve cleaning of the US Embassy, a large building including four floors of offices, a basement, and the guardhouse in front of the Chancery.

Cleaning tasks: Daily duties include vacuuming all areas, emptying trash, mopping floors, and cleaning 18 restrooms. The incumbent is expected to periodically dust windowsills and blinds, empty ashtrays, wash windows, remove grease marks or fingerprints from painted surfaces, dust tops of tall furniture and other items not done daily.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Completion of secondary school. At least six months cleaning experience is desired. Must have basic proficiency of spoken Swedish and English.
