Customer & cargo coordinator to one of our international customers in Stockholm city.
Key Responsibilities
You will have responsibility for co-ordinating cargo in order to fulfil contractual commitments and maximize customer satisfaction whilst also contributing towards best tonnage utilisation and voyage results.
Cargo Coordination
• Develop and manage cargo allocation plans in alignment with capacity management
• Follow up on space availability and deliveries
• Responsible for liaison with Area Sales Teams, Port Operations and Terminal to enhance space allocations
• Play an active role in execution of customer prioritization and optimal cargo mix decisions
• Monitor volume levels and provide input on optimal routing and port rotation across the trade
• Ability to foresee, identify, and initiate actions to support higher earnings
Customer Coordination
• Act as primary customer interface developing customer relationships and guide vessel scheduling based on customer requirements
• Respond to all general customer enquiries, customer bookings and feedback/complaints (follow up)
• Support account management for your designated customers
• Monitor customer KPIs and seek corrective action to ensure adherence to performance targets.
Requirements and personal skills
You are a team player with shipping or logistics experience and a proven track record within customer service. You are a multi-tasker who thrives under pressure and loves the challenge and responsibility of finding a win-win solution for the customer and business. You are result orientated, commercially aware, solution driven and able to focus on details and follow up when necessary. You have excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written and general computer competence (office programs). Language skills are an asset, particularly fluent German.
