Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for dedicated customer accounts and have responsibility for co-ordinating cargo to fulfil our customer commitments whilst maximizing customer satisfaction and profitability.
Cargo Coordination
• Develop and manage cargo allocation plans in alignment with capacity management
• Follow up on space availability and deliveries
• Liaise with Area Sales Teams, Port Operations and Terminal to enhance space allocations
• Play an active role in execution of customer prioritization and optimal cargo mix decisions
• Monitor volume levels and provide input on optimal routing and port rotation across the trade
• Ability to foresee, identify, and initiate actions to support higher earnings

Customer Coordination
• Act as primary customer interface developing customer relationships and guiding vessel scheduling based on customer requirements
• Respond to all general customer enquiries, customer bookings and feedback/complaints (follow up)
• Support account management for your designated customers
• Monitor customer KPIs and seek corrective action to ensure adherence to performance targets.
Requirements and personal skills
• You ara a strong team player with a proven track record within customer service
• A multi-tasker who thrives under pressure and loves the challenge and responsibility of finding a win-win solution for the customer and business;
• Result orientated, commercially aware, solution driven and able to focus on details and follow up when necessary.
• An excellent communicator who is able to communicate at all levels creating strong working relationships internally, with our customers and external counterparts.
• Excellent English skills (both verbal and written)
• Computer literate and comfortable with all office programs.
• Other languages are a merit
