You will be part of ABB Process Automation business area and work both with Energy- and Process Industry division and our exciting market as Automation Center Demo facilitator & Technical Advisor.

As Customer Center Experience Lead you will be responsible for the end-to-end customer experience in our demo centers in Sweden, in which we demonstrate integrated solutions with automation, instrumentation, digitalization offering and discrete automation equipment. In this role You will be the lead for developing demonstrations for our automation and digital offerings covering the different segment we serve by acting as ambassador for addressing solutions to customer problems fit for the future development of customer assets.
You will also be responsible for the customer experience and automation dialogue, when customers visiting our Customer Demo centers.
The role is based in Västerås and we’re looking for a person who gets energy from meeting our customers to present and who loves to take the dialogue how to create the best value with our digital and automation offerings, based on our control system 800xA and our ABB AbilityTM Digital Solutions Portfolio.
You will work closely together with our sales team who has the sales responsibility to our customers, but you will be the significant “value adder” in giving our customers an overwhelming experience in our demo center.
Your responsibilities
Be the lead for further development of our demo facilities and the key person in presenting our solutions for automation, digital and integrated solutions.
Work in close collaboration with our sales team with the aim to develop segment specific 800xA demonstrations in various segments and to give the customer a unique experience. Segment examples; metal, mining, life science, food & beverage or chemical applications.
Actively build, maintain and evolve a portfolio of demo solutions and scenarios based on our digital portfolio, relevant for each industrial segments and tailored to different industrial users.
Maintain and manage the local demo environment and systems.
Support and train colleagues to be able to perform demonstrations in our systems.
Contact person for our customers and you take the lead in setting up and scheduling the demo sessions.
In the technical advisor role, you would support our sales team in other customer related discussions at customer facilities or remote.
We always aim to improve our organization so you will also be responsible to drive strategic initiatives both externally and internally.

Your background
Experience in and a seeker of “face to face” related customer contacts/relationships.
Knowledge in the process industry, electrical or automation projects.
Driven, flexible and customer-oriented personality.
Self-independent as well as a team player.
Being quality-conscious and appreciating the work processes being in continuous improvement and innovation.
Oriented to make a win-win situation where both the customers and ABB are winners.
We believe a Master of Science/bachelor’s degree in any technology field is a must.
