Volvo Trucks are constantly developing and at Commercial Offer & Sales Support within Truck Sales Operation we’re now looking for a Customer Charging Offer Manager, a critical role in the world of electrified trucks.

What will you do?

You will contribute by assuring that we effectively deploy the Volvo Trucks charging offers to accelerate the electrification of transport through our products and services. We work very close with our colleagues within Global Product Management, Sales Areas and Markets, but also other functions within Volvo Group such as Volvo Energy, Group Trucks Technology, Purchasing and Operations.
As Customer Charging Offer Manager your mission is to develop the ability of our market organizations to deploy optimized charging solutions that satisfy the energy needs of our customers. You will take the perspective of the infrastructure, as well as the vehicle and customer operations.


You will be responsible for providing the knowledge and tools our markets need during the definition of the right charging solutions for the specific customers operations that is to be electrified. Your role will cover all the dimensions of charging from slow and fast charging solutions, private and public environments, and deployment to operation of the installations. Given the experience you will gain, your input will be of great value when developing future offers giving you a natural link to the Global Product Management team. This will give you a unique opportunity to really pioneer the field of battery electric vehicle charging which will make you the expert of Volvo Trucks electromobility offers.


The role has the following key responsibilities:
Enabling and support the Volvo Truck market representatives to provide a premium charging experience
Informing and communicating new technical content and features to our market representatives
Representing Volvo Trucks with regards to information and training development in product industrialization projects
Building expert knowledge in charging offers for prioritized segments and customer applications
From time to time represent Volvo Trucks in customer dialogues and dialogues with local partners

Desired qualifications


We highly value persons with an open and positive attitude that are flexible and able to take own initiatives. You need to have a strong customer and business-oriented mindset with a strong technical background within charging, electromobility or other relevant technical fields. Good understanding of the transport industry is a merit but not a requirement. Strong communication skills are important, and you should have experience in networking with other people, bringing them together to collaborate, developing opportunities, solving potential issues and driving change.

Experience of charging solutions or other relevant technical fields
Knowledge of the transport industry is meriting
University degree in Engineering or equivalent
