Who we are
Scania is transforming, further strengthening the voice of the customer in all development work – with Sales and Marketing assigned to drive this. This is a collective development objective for the whole Solutions Management department, and with this ad we are recruiting the person who will lead the work. You will also belong to our newly formed team, KTPX – Business Intelligence and Analytics, centering around customer insights and business insights.
About the role
Even though we have a long history of successful involvement of customers and sales, there is big room for improvement and for exploring new opportunities. Leading this work will include both big and small objectives. Small as in communicating the good collaboration methods that already exist to make sure they are used to the maximum extent. Big as in taking to decision what kind of beta testing community of customers that would benefit Scania’s development work.
This means that in order to be fruitful in this role, you will work very cross functionally – not only within Solutions Management but also with selected Business Units and R&D Departments and development initiatives. Frequent business travel will occur in this position.
Responsibilities
• Identify customer collaboration demands with the development community
• Identify insights capacity and capabilities in the retail network and among customers
• Identify potential digital means of getting customer insights or feedback
• Outline roles and responsibilities needed to manage these ways of working
• Outline incentive structure to make it rewarding for customers to partner with us
• Create proposals for new ways of working and bring to financed decisions
• Map existing ways of working and make sure the relevant stake holders are aware
• Drive/host certain new and existing methods
Who you are
To be successful, you probably have a good awareness of the knowledge potential in the retail network or the demand for feedback and input at the development community, or both. On a personal level you strive to build wide contact networks with long term relationships through good collaboration, communication, structure and trust. You are both able to outline the strategic direction and get things done here and now. You are probably a senior Scania employee looking for an opportunity to make the whole company take a very big and positive step in our transformation.
