Vattenfall Consumer Sales Nordic is responsible for the sales of electricity contracts and other energy related products and services to private customers and small enterprises in the Nordic region. As the energy landscape and electricity market are changing rapidly, Vattenfall has very high ambitions going forward and will continue to be a leader through innovation, customer focused solutions and signature customer experiences.
We are now looking for the right person to fill the position as Customer Insight Analyst to join one of our cross-functional agile business teams. In the team you will perform different analytical tasks using large amounts of data to make business processes and decisions fact based and data driven. Being the domain expert you will proactively seek ways to both improve ongoing activities with new data and/or methods and also introduce new ideas to the team. You are a true team player but can also effectively plan and execute analytical tasks independently when needed. In this role you will also work closely with other analysts and be part of a larger network of analysts from different teams.
Some of your tasks and responsibilities will include:
- Apply quantitative analyses to generate insights and identify new business opportunities
- Build predictive models and use advanced analytics to optimize business results
- Create trigger based target groups and automated marketing activities
- Follow-up and evaluate sales and marketing activities
- Visualize data, build and automate reports in PowerBI
- Work proactively with large and complex data sets and explore new data from both internal and external sources
- Together with other analysts and IT, maintain and develop our data- and analytical environment in Azure
The ideal candidate will meet most of these criteria:
- University degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. Statistics, Mathematics or Engineering)
- At least 3 years of previous experience in a similar role
- Problem solver who enjoys working with and explore data on a daily basis
- Strong SQL background
- Experience using Python and/or R for advanced analytics
- Experience/knowledge in statistical concepts and modeling
- Experience/knowledge in predictive modeling, implementing all steps in the process
- Ability to present and explain complex results and methodologies to a non-technical audience
- Solid understanding of data requirements for analytics and Machine Learning models
- Solution oriented team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills in Swedish and English
The location of this position is in Arenastaden, Solna.
