IMMUNODIAGNOSTICS DIVISION

Thermo Fisher Scientific’s ImmunoDiagnostics Division (IDD) develops, manufactures, and markets complete blood test systems to support the clinical diagnosis and follow-up of allergy and autoimmune diseases. With 1,900 employees worldwide, IDD is the global leader in in vitro IgE testing for allergy and the European leader in autoimmunity diagnostics.

WHAT WILL I DO?

As a Customer Insights Market Analyst you will support the business with their decisions regarding ImmunoDiagnostics’ core products and customers. You will base your recommendations primarily on customer and market insights derived from secondary data analyses combined with internal data and available reports and sometimes on primary market research.


Your main responsibilities are divided into five core areas:

1. Secondary Market Research
Independently create and manage analyses for topics related to Autoimmunity and Allergy customers and markets. This includes, providing Management and Marketing with accurate, timely and relevant information.

2. Identification and evaluation of information needs and sources
Anticipate and identify market research information needs, both collaboratively with internal business partners and proactively based on knowledge of customers, markets and products.

3. Primary Market Research
Design and conduct international primary research in response to specific business decisions to be made by the internal business partners.

4. Strategic Forecasting
Develop state-of-the-art forecasting models for the strategic planning processes. Train colleagues and other functions involved in the forecasting process on forecasting methodology, forecasting tool and reporting system.

5. Analyses and Recommendations
Provide market and customer insights to support Management, Marketing functions, R&D and other functions based on desk research and primary market research studies combining the conclusions drawn from several sources.

HOW WILL I GET THERE?

We are looking for a forward-thinking and proactive professional with a background in Market Analysis. To succeed in this role it is important that you have a real passion for data analysis and marketing. To succeed in this role you need to have extensive and sophisticated excel experience (VAB Programming is a plus) and strong communication and presentation skills.

We hope that you are a curious person who not only enjoys getting stuck into data and numbers, but who is also good at thinking creatively and working with a wide range of people in order to achieve solid business results.

You will be working in the Diagnostics market, therefore, experience from this or a similar industry is beneficial, but not essential.

Fluent English is required, and a university degree is preferred
