The Customer Analysis team at H&M is part of the Global Marketing Department. We work with transactional and demographic customer data to optimize our customer offering and communication. Our goals are to provide customer insights that are the basis for operational and strategical business decisions.
We are currently looking for a Customer & Media Analyst to further strengthen the customer centric focus at the marketing department. As a Customer & Media Analyst, you work closely with other functions to support effective business decisions. You will be a part of the whole process from idea, data mining, analysis, build reports and communication of results. Your main responsibility will be to create actionable insights from analyzing our media investments impact on the customer behavior. You will also support different parts of the H&M organization with insights about our customers such as Media, Business Tech and Sales departments.

Your responsibilities
Analyze media’s impact on customer behavior to deliver clear insights to sales and media teams
Translate insight into clear recommendations that drive data driven decision-making
Use visualization tools to spread customer insight to stakeholders within the company
Set targets, predict and analyze H&M’s customer base development
Support other functions to become even more customer centric and create a learning organization
Contribute in projects and deliver on ad-hoc requests
Your background and skills
Degree in economics, engineering, statistics or related field
Minimum 2 years of experience from working hands on with media investments’ impact on customer behavior as you will be a part of how H&M build relationships with our customers now and in the future
Experience in analyzing customer behavior by using multiple data sources, resulting in clear recommendations for action
Programming experience such as SQL, SAS, R or Python and visualization experience through e.g. PowerBI or Tableau
As a person you are independent, results-oriented and a true problem solver. You thrive when given large data sets to dig into and to derive actionable insights from them. You are able to proactively identify the needs of the company and handle ambiguity, while also securing that the goals for the team are met. Lastly you have a genuine passion for retail and customer behavior as you will impact how H&M builds relationships with our customers now and in the future.
