Customer Quality Engineer

Job Description
We have a great opportunity for a Customer Quality Engineer to join us in Saint-Gobain Sekurit Scandinavia AB in Eslöv Sweden and supporting our customers as well as our internal business.
As a Customer Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for customer claim management. You will be reporting directly to the EHSQ manger.
This is your role
Managing customer claim, 0-km as well as warranty and the related cost.
Failure analysis of returned products through root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions
Completing relevant customer specific documentation on customer portal as per customer specific requirement, i.e 8D, kaizen etc
Liaising with other relevant functions, and in some cases Sekurit’s plants to solve quality claims
Participating in the project development team as quality assurance
Actively participate in World Class Manufacturing (WCM) projects
KPI and cost management related to customer claims

Who are You?
Someone who is/has:
Extensive experience within and sound knowledge of quality assurance
Good knowledge of quality tools (e.g. FMEA, control plan,5-why, 8D, ishikawa, etc.)
Previous experience of working in a manufacturing or production environment
Good experience of problem-solving and root causes analysis
Hands-on, risk-oriented, cost-aware and pragmatic
Genuinely interested in manufacturing processes and controls
Being comfortable in taking decisions and making negotiations with customer
Ability to meet deadlines and multitask
Speaking and writing in Swedish and English fluently.
Preferred to have experience of IATF16949, internal audit, Lean, Six Sigma or WCM
Being driven, taking your own initiative, being business and customer oriented.

Requirements:
Degree or equivalent in related engineering discipline
Excellent user of Microsoft 365 office
