About the position
As Customer Service Coordinator you will manage and be responsible for freight forwarding and coordination of shipments focusing heavily on import. As responsible for facilitating the shipping of container goods, to domestic and international locations, you utilize best practice shipping methods. You also manage administration, documentation, and customs clearance.
Your main responsibility is reliable delivery and the objective is operational excellence by:
• high quality of support to the Client throughout the process
• act on deviations and coordination of actions throughout the process
• close collaboration with offices abroad in arranging and receiving orders
You are part of one of the leading global logistics companies through their very committed Gothenburg team and working from the office in the central of Gothenburg. You report to Sales manager. About you
We are looking for you who have a few years of experience from international shipping and forwarding – either from smaller or larger business. You have a very good understanding of the delivery and logistics process in its entirety, and you are able to support and guide the client in all matters, related to the order delivery process. You have work experience in sea freight forwarding, it is meritorious if you have customs experience and experience in air freight forwarding, but not a requirement.
You enjoy working in an international environment, and you are comfortable with both speaking and writing in English and Swedish. You are skilled in using Excel and other administrative tools and systems.
Furthermore, we see that you are an open-minded person with great patience who values both clients and colleagues. You are easy-going with no difficulties in asking for assistance if you are unsure.
