Your mission
Making Train the most attractive mobility solutions for people and freights by ensuring railway fleets are reliable, available and maintained through their life cycle.
Your role
Your will be the customer primary point of contact to supply equipment and spare parts or railway vehicles. You will handle customer enquiries, providing quotation and ensure their deliveries. As part of a global organization, you will coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure material deliveries from different sites within Alstom.
You will develop best value offers to Alstom customers, by developing through continuous improvement pro-active proposals. Managing the customer portfolio, you will secure the profitability expected by Alstom management, following the governance cycle.

Your key responsibilities?
• Pro-active sales, answer customer requests and prepare quotations, follow up on quotations, and secure orders. Handling orders until delivery and invoicing.
• Establish and permanently maintain customer contact. Manage the customer relationship and influencing upcoming business opportunities.
• Build successful and long-term relationships with the customer
• Ensure customer satisfaction and to resolve any customer concerns that may arise.
• Participate in customer meetings and meetings with other functions e.g. procurement and engineering
• Development / Improvement of our offer and processes.
• Support in Product and Marketing documentation.
Minimum qualifications:
• Bachelor or Master in Engineering or Business Administration
• 1 – 2 years of working experience within industry role
• Experiences interfacing daily external stakeholder (customer, supplier, …) and relationship-building skills are required for the role
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills, excellent organizational skills, and time management
• Willingness and drive to continuously improve
• Understanding of supply chain and material planning
• Team player with a positive attitude and enjoy working with process improvements
• Fluent in English and Swedish
Ideally:
• Knowledge of the railway industry
• Previous experience in a technical sales role
• Global industry knowledge would be a benefit for this position
• Knowledge in business intelligence, negotiation skills, and planning
