Join us as a Customer Service Officer in Västerås - Sweden and you will be looking at a career-defining role


Your mission?

The main objectives within this role include securing sales targets and being proactive to develop/improve our sales offer fully; this means finding answers to how we can best add value to our offers.
The main products that will fall under this role will be related to propulsion spare parts and spare part kits produced at RSC Västerås or by RSC subsuppliers. The target customers that this role will be responsible for are mainly internal Alstom sites but also some external customers within the field of responsibility.


Your key responsibilities?

Pro-active sales, answer customer requests and prepare quotations, follow up on quotations, and secure orders.
Order handling
Participate in customer meetings and meetings with other functions e.g. procurement and engineering
Development/ Improvement of our offer and processes.
Support in Product and marketing bids and BLESS calculations.
Establish and permanently maintain customer contact. Manage the customer relationship and influencing





Minimum qualifications:

Sales, Technical or Engineering degree or equal
3-5 years of working experience within a previous technical sales role
Experiences in a sales organization with daily customer contacts and relationship-building skills are required for the role
Understanding of supply chain and material planning
Team player with a positive attitude and enjoy working with process improvements
Fluent in English and Swedish



Ideally:

Knowledge of the railway industry
Global industry knowledge would be a benefit for this position
Knowledge in business intelligence, negotiation skills, and planning
