Customer Service Representative, Supply Chain

Sandvik Materials Technology is a business area within the Sandvik Group.Product areas comprise Tube, Strip, Wire and Heating Technology, Process Systems and MedTech.The Tube product area is specialized in seamless and welded tubes and pipes and associated parts.Sandvik leads the world within the field of tubular products made of advanced alloys and of stainless special steels.Tube operates production facilities in eight countries (Sweden, England, the Czech Republic, France, Germany, USA, Canada and India) and responds to world market needs for seamless tubing and long products in stainless steel for demanding applications.Primary markets are the chemical and petrochemical industries, oil and gas, power electronics and many other branches of industry in which high level requirements are essential as concerns corrosion and mechanical characteristics, as well as reliability.We are now looking for an energetic Customer Service Representative who is ready for a flexible and service-oriented position.The person in this position will work in close collaboration with other departments within the Supply Chain Organization, Production, Marketing and all Sandvik sales units around the world.Key performance areas As a Customer Service team member you will be responsible for handling orders within the Sandvik Tube Production Unit, which means full responsibility for orders from order creation to follow-up and product release.You will also be responsible for daily support regarding questions on orders from our customers and sales units around the world, which will provide you with good insight into Tube's global business arena.In addition to daily business, continuous improvement projects are always underway.You will be involved in these projects, sometimes as a contributor and sometimes in an operative role.Internally, we work closely with other parts within the Supply Chain and Marketing Departments, as well as with the Shipping and Production Departments.Your profile We are looking for candidates who are motivated, eager to learn and to develop.Qualified candidates will have a university degree, preferably in logistics, marketing or a related field.Experience working in a similar field may be considered as a substitute for a degree.Knowledge of Lotus Notes and main frame systems is a merit.Speaking, reading and writing English and Swedish fluently is a requirement, knowledge in other languages is appreciated. As a person you are highly flexible, service oriented and a good team player.You have the ability and desire to take ownership of daily operations, the "order to delivery" process, as well as to create and elaborate on continuous improvement projects.You are an outgoing, energetic and positive person who finds it easy to create and build networks, both in-house within the production unit and externally.
