Customer Success Manager to Alva Labs
In the 1980s, we got to follow the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, and Michelangelo, in their fight against crime and evil in New York City. Now what on earth does that have to do with the fact that Alva Labs is out scouting for a new Customer Success Manager? EVERYTHING!
Our Customer Success team is very much like the ninja turtles, but rather than fighting crime, they fight injustice within recruitment. Alva’s ninjas make our clients build great teams by hire in an efficient, non-biased, and scientific way. They take down human error and subjectivity, one bias at a time. They help create a world, where all applicants are assessed on equal terms and the most suitable candidates get the job.

Alva in a nutshell
Ever stumbled upon a personality test in a recruitment process? Alva Labs is a SaaS scale-up that offers a unique candidate assessment platform. We help companies build their organizations with the right people in the right place, in a fair, accurate, and automated way. By combining state-of-the-art psychometrics, data science, and an obsession with candidate experience, we provide the needed tool for data-driven talent acquisition.
We are growing 2-3x per year and are in the exciting phase of launching Alva in new markets. With new customers coming aboard at a rate of knots and existing ones expanding scope, we're looking to build out our Customer Success team to help meet the demand and help us continue to deliver best-in-class service.
What will you do
- Take total ownership of your customers, both newly onboarded and mature accounts
- Fight injustice in recruitment alongside our industry category experts
- Build and implement strategies to drive account growth. You will be given retention and upsell targets to deliver against
- Cultivate and develop relationships across your accounts. Connect with key stakeholders to ensure Alva is viewed as a strategic partner
- Profoundly understand your customers’ objectives, challenges, and expectations. Collaborate both internally and externally to create delivery plans for short and long term growth
- Analyze performance data and deliver insight to customers
- Work alongside the rest of the customer success to build processes and steer projects
What have you done before
We believe in finding the right person, rather than the right CV. But it would be great if you have a background either in commercially focussed Customer Success roles and/or recruitment or psychometric testing in some capacity. We have a lot of in-house knowledge when it comes to psychometrics and tests, but we will pretty much expect you to handle the Customer Success role from the start. Plus, if you have fought crime in the sewers of New York City, that might just get you shortlisted.
