The Solution Implementation team at Volvo Group Connected Solutions is responsible for the technical packaging and implementation of functionality towards our customers, within our solutions for the business areas supported. We work in close collaboration with all our internal development teams as well as the service owners at the different business areas within the Volvo Group. Together we can secure safe implementations and get the best possible customer value from the services that we offer. We have a flexible workplace policy, but when we want to meet, we go to our office at Lindholmen in Gothenburg.
The Role
As Customer Training Specialist you will be responsible for providing customer training support and material, in order to ensure full understanding of available services and functionality linked to the vehicle or product ownership. The customer in this case can be internal Volvo within the market companies, or dealers or end customers such as drivers and dispatchers. You will be responsible for creating video tutorials, presentation materials, educational documentation as well as giving lectures for different end customers and new internal colleagues both online and on site. You will also manage and support research into new training techniques and suggest enhancements to existing customer training. In other words, this is a role that is very communicative, pedagogical and with an outgoing profile. To fully understand the solution, this role also demands some level of technical understanding in terms of larger architectural systems on a high level.
Your profile
We believe that you are a person with a technical background who thrives when teaching, educating, and explaining technically complicated structures in an educational and an easy-to-understand way, with proven work experience with performing trainings.
You are a sociable person who is capable of forming strong relationships. You are self-driven, like taking your own initiatives as part of having a large individual responsibility. You have a passion for business, technology and creating value from information. Experience within technical sales is an advantage.
You have a record of accomplishment in designing and executing successful training programs, and familiarity with traditional and modern training methods. You get inspired by creating innovative and creative ideas to make the training adapted for different types of customers.
To qualify for this role, you should have:
A bachelor’s degree or equivalent as the basis for your career in a relevant field
Experience within project management
Experience as a teacher is a plus
Excellent presentation and communication skills
Excellent collaboration and leadership skills
Interest in and understanding of our industry and our customers’ business
At least 5 years’ experience within relevant areas, such as education and leadership
Fluent in English, both written and spoken
Hold a valid work-permit for Sweden if you are not an EU-citizen
