Arbetsbeskrivning
Sandvik Group Trade Compliance is responsible for ensuring that the company's practices conform to global import/export regulations. Our motto is enabling business!
When exporting goods over borders, both tangible and intangible, one has to take many interests into account: economic and political, as well as internal strategies and applicable laws.
As a ONE Sandvik initiative, and as a step towards decreasing corporate risk through increasing compliance, the customs operation in Sweden will be centralized. A new organization, residing in the Country Finance Organization, will be put in place, with the purpose of handling all import/export declarations. This will include working more strategically with customs in order to increase quality and utilize possible duty refunds. We are now looking for a Customs Administrator to be based in Sandviken.
Key performance areas
In the position of Customs Administrator, you support Swedish legal entities with import and export declarations, as well as support in other customs related questions. Your mission is to guarantee that accurate information is provided to the Swedish Customs Authorities (Tullverket), making sure that Sandvik acts in compliance with laws and regulations.
You receive and check the documentation needed to declare goods for internal customers and submit import/export declarations to customs authorities. You assure that declarations contain all necessary information, and request missing information if needed. Sharing your knowledge with others and finding and filling any knowledge gaps in your area of expertise are essential parts of your daily work. You also continually develop your own understanding and expertise.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with a degree in Management, Logistics, Engineering, Economics, or another relevant field, and at least three years? experience from working with customs related issues. Excellent language skills in English and Swedish are prerequisite, in both speaking and writing.
We place great value on your personal qualities in this recruitment, characterized by your exceptional attention to details and organizational skills. You are supportive, always put the customer first, enjoy working in a team and have a well-developed ability to provide support and deliver on demand.
We actively work to create a workplace that is characterized by diversity and inclusion.
