We are looking for a Customs Officer with the responsibility to lead the customs related activities and the team of customs associates in Finspång.

Relationship building and cooperation capabilities are important for the role. Furthermore, focus on efficiency in customs procedures and a cost-effective approach is central, ability to understand the legislation in force (Union Customs Code) and the global trade policy for the eventual impact it may have on the actual activities related to imports and exports.
The challenge
* Lead and develop the customs activities within the company
* Understand and act on new regulations, sanctions, free trade agreements, additional customs duties or any other trade occurrences that may have any impact on the business
* Create and nurture relationships with managers within customs relevant areas.
* Perform training within the field of customs for all departments affecting the customs processes
* Communicate with authorities and other relevant partners
Who are you?
* 5-10 years of experience in the field of customs
* Experience of project management and to lead a team
* Experience of AEO authorization
* Educated to Degree level or relevant working experience
* A business mind set with strong negotiation skills
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Fluent in English
* Advanced Microsoft Office and SAP user
