Are you a passionate specialist who wants to take on coordinated responsibility in a global environment?
Tetra Laval Group Transport & Travel is responsible for sourcing and contracting of Tetra Laval transport and travel volumes, as well as Export Control overall coordination. We belong to Tetra Pak's Supply Chain organisation and work in close cooperation with central and regional teams. This close-knit group of 15 employees is now looking for a Customs Specialist, supporting Tetra Pak in Sweden.
You will be the centre of expertise, involved in a large international network both within Tetra Pak and externally. The position will have a tactical as well as operational focus and take responsibility for putting in place structures and for achieving defined objectives. You will work closely linked with our legal entities in Sweden to build the organisation of tomorrow, maintain best in class competency and to assure aligned and common procedures and processes.
Main responsibilities
- Build the future customs network and ensure appropriate competence levels
- Develop and maintain an internal compliance program including procedures and guidelines
- Monitor and analyse the development of customs regulation and implement together with key stakeholders
- Single point of contact towards authorities in matters that are of importance to our business and to assure compliance
- Manage and review processes and tools
- Provide expertise advice and support to the organisation
- Continuously review and implement activities related to savings opportunities
- Evaluate and implement activities to secure an efficient and smooth supply chain
- Support the organisation in Export matters
Qualifications
The ideal candidate has a high level of understanding and experience within the Customs area, including but not limited to classification, origin and duty reliefs. You have drive and energy, are result oriented with an analytical mindset. You have the ability to challenge existing strategies and methods. Strong communication and presentation skills are important. We believe you also have the ability to create strong relationships and assure compliance throughout the organisation. You are used to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, being flexible and thorough as well as quality minded.
You probably have a university degree with experience in the field of Customs. Previous experience in coordinating Customs matters is a requirement and beneficial if done in a multi cultural environment. A very good command in Swedish and English, both written and verbal is preferable.
