IKEA Supply is part of IKEA Range & Supply and is responsible for securing that the product offer is produced and delivered to our customers. We lead the supply agenda across many functions and work together with all business areas, different business units, but also retail markets to secure customer availability in all markets and sales channels at lowest total cost.

This is a new position for the Customs Europe and Africa (EA) Team, within the larger Team the CTC Manager will lead a small team focused on Customs and Trade Compliance, proactively seeking to secure compliance into processes in all EA countries.

In this role, you will work to monitor regulations and requirements, understand their impact towards IKEA’s ways of working and by working with key stakeholders and the operations teams ensure compliant operational practices are in place to support a dynamic supply chain, while helping to promote a vibrant Customs organization that strives to be a trusted resource to all stakeholders.

As an integral part of the EA Customs Management Team, the CTC Manager works to protect the IKEA brand through best practices and helps facilitate the realization of the IKEA vision to make a better everyday life for the many people.

Your main tasks will include: 
Supporting all country customs teams and the regional Customs Operations Service Centre (COSC), to secure the compliance set up in customs related processes, closely and actively work with country customs team to find ways to continuously optimize processes to achieve full compliance
Lead and manage regional free trade agreement/preference strategies and programs to secure optimal use of such agreements while securing compliance and adherence to agreement requirements
 Analyze new IKEA EA countries from a customs perspective and to lead the development of customs procedures to IKEA’s business within those countries
Lead and develop customs and trade team in accordance with "Leading Business & People Together", ensure team competence meet current and future business needs.
