About the role
As a Security Architect, you will work as advisory board member, for managing and maintaining the security posture. You will own the Solutioning, Design HLD/LLD, build activities with Implementation SME’s and provide guidance to the security Operations team for maintaining the security systems in hybrid cloud-based environment, Microsoft Cloud adoption framework. The Security Architect will Establish and Perform risk assessment during all stages of the SDLC lifecycle and work with customer architects to design and implement robust data governance strategies.


Responsibilities
Define policies to protect endpoints against cyber threat, unauthorized access, malware and data breaches.
Design policies and standards relating to access management and establish a process to review adherence to policy.
Provide security inputs and best practice approaches to identify management including cloud only, hybrid and external identities.
Define security controls and policies, access to data, and monitor alerts to ensure that data, apps, containers, infrastructure, and networks are protected.
Own and manage a security risk register to highlight and mitigate any identified organizational risks.
Manage regular auditing of the endpoint security posture and own the planning and execution of any required remediations.
Establish and update RACI between Customer SOC team and Cognizant operations team for maintaining the security posture of the environment.


Experience
Min 3-4 years of experience working as security architect on security products such as Defender for identity, end points, ATP, Azure sentinel, Qualyasguard.
Must have managed Security portfolio such as identity and access management, data security, endpoint security, network security, vulnerability management.
Training and Certification in Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert would be an added advantage.
Any experience implementing zero trust would be an added advantage.
