Who We Are
At Volvo Cars, we are transforming the automotive industry through bold digital visions. Our mission is to create a seamless digital ecosystem that makes our customers' lives less complicated. Within the Connected Experience unit, we are responsible for delivering the best and most secure connectivity in the automotive world. Having been at the forefront of connected car technology for over two decades, we know that connectivity is a critical enabler in the industry. As we move toward a future defined by electrification, autonomous driving, and shared mobility, cybersecurity is a top priority, and we are seeking a Cybersecurity Solution Architect to drive this vision forward.

What You’ll Do
As a Cybersecurity Solution Architect, you will be part of a network of specialists and architects across Volvo Cars, developing a global technology plan for cybersecurity. You will lead the architectural design for end-to-end cybersecurity across embedded systems, telecom networks, and cloud platforms, collaborating closely with Product Managers and cybersecurity teams to facilitate risk management and drive implementation of cybersecurity processes. You will also engage in technology scouting, R&D, and global regulatory alignment, while representing Volvo Cars at industry conferences and research projects. Strengthening the organization’s cybersecurity culture through training, mentoring, and coaching will be an integral part of your role, as well as evaluating suppliers and tools in this field.

Who You Are
You hold at least a Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, with significant professional experience in cybersecurity. Your expertise spans software development, architecture, embedded systems, and cloud technologies, and you have in-depth knowledge of global regulatory frameworks, including data protection and privacy by design. You are familiar with industry standards like ISO/SAE 21434 and ISO 27001, and have experience working in agile environments with DevSecOps principles. Fluent in English, you are analytical, innovative, cooperative, and driven by results.
