We are expanding in Embedded System development for electrical, hydrogen and conventional powertrains and are now looking for an experienced Cyber Security Coordinator / System Engineer in the Electric & Electronics area. We are looking for someone who wants to go all the way from plan and lead Cyber Security development to produce relevant documentation and plans, that not only fulfill the immediate project needs but also allow common platform solutions to be used cross projects, cross legislation, cross applications. In this position you will work in the team responsible for the Propulsion Electrical System Platform. You will be expected to lead system solution investigations, plan development activities, and monitor the progress. A big part of the work is network with other stakeholders of the electrical system and work closely with our agile HW and SW development teams.
We are a team of system engineers developing the electrical system in close cooperation with the agile teams developing the control systems. We have a dynamic work environment with the target to develop the most efficient embedded system platform, which is used by more than 400 software and hardware engineers around the world when developing features for our customers.
Main Activities are:
Plan development activities, and document them
Develop cyber security work products, e.g. item definition and damage analysis, threat analysis, cybersecurity plan, cybersecurity concept, cybersecurity case
Investigate system solutions and document as requirement
Perform requirement break-down
Requirements, experiences needed:
5+ year of experience developing embedded systems
Experience of Cyber Security work
Experience with electronic hardware and/or software
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment, interfacing with engineers globally
Open-minded and pro-active, structured and a drive to take the lead is an advantage
Previous Experience in Volvo Propulsion software development will be highly valued.
Minimum Education Required
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
