All about the role:
The Global Security unit is divided in 4 teams: Data Privacy, Security operations, Infra Security and I&AM. The ambition of our unit is to develop further our security services and improve the security postures from entire Electrolux, incl IT, OT and IoT needs.
We are looking for a Cyber Security engineer with experienced technical knowledge in the security operation domains and processes.
Security Operations processes include risk and security assessments, vulnerability management, threat intelligence, incident response, and monitoring/log management.
As a member of the Security Operations team, you will do day to day monitoring of cyber security state based on existing tools and technologies. You will also perform security assessments for IT solutions prior to onboarding. This will give you a very wide understanding of Electrolux IT environment and risks.
What you'll do:
• Help to improve the vulnerability management with process, tools and measures.
• Perform security scans and posture assessments
• Provide vulnerability remediation reporting, and facilitate mitigating actions and security activities.
• Participate in cross-functional teams to solve complex security matters
• Threat hunting through utilization of existing internal and public threat intelligence feeds, proactive investigation of potential threats and risks against Electrolux.
• Take active role in security incident response & problem management. E.g. analysis of security incidents, act to contain, remediate and resolve.
• Continuous measurement of security state and regular reporting through KPIs and security metrics.
• Perform Cyber security risk assessment on new applications or purchased solutions, risk based according to our control framework.
Your experience and qualifications:
• Holistic knowledge in network, infrastructure, access management, endpoint, cloud & DevOps architecture, ITIL & agile processes
• Security and regulatory compliance knowledge (e.g. SOC, HITRUST, ISO, NIST,…)
• Deep knowledge in one or several of requested domains (Application -, Endpoint -, Cloud – and/or I&AM)
• Security tool competences such as EDR, SIEM and SOAR and Vulnerability scanning tools
• Growth mindset and an innate passion for learning
• Exceptional communication practices (written, verbal, presentation)
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
