Cyber Security Engineer – Security Controls

Job Description


Cyber Security Controls team works to establish and implement security controls on tools and platforms used at H&M.
Cyber Security Engineers implement the right security controls in software and services across the technological landscape to ensure confidentiality and integrity and increase overall security in platforms and tools.
Cyber Security Engineers have competencies in one or more core tech domains, e.g. secure software development, cloud, network, key and encryption, and data protection. In this capacity, a cyber security engineer is part of the proactive work to help shape the security of tech delivery of H&M. In Security Controls, engineers with different competencies work together to support a wide array of technologies.
Responsibilities
Take ownership of your technical stack, and design, build, test, and deploy security and compliance controls to enhance operational security.
Develop processes and tools to support tech delivery teams.
Define and develop security guardrails.
Plan, implement, manage, monitor, and upgrade security measures to protect the organization's data, systems, and networks.
Troubleshoot security and control issues.
Ensure the organization's data and infrastructure are protected by implementing appropriate security controls.
Participate in the change management process.
Identify and implement automation opportunities, and support the design and implementation of automation solutions.
Handle daily administrative tasks, reporting, and communication with relevant departments.





Qualifications


You have hands-on experience in one or more technologies listed below :
Cloud services like Azure and Google Cloud (with focus on infrastructure security)
Cryptography (certificates, ADCS, Digicert, Certificates as a Service)
Implementing security Controls for Secure software development (all phases of SDLC)
Information and data protection, data privacy (with good understanding of privacy regulations)
You have experience with systems such as Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, Pureview, email and domain security, and Office 365 Security.
You are proactive, taking initiative to identify and address obstacles, issues, and opportunities.
You have a strong curiosity and passion for technology, understanding how things work and how they are assembled.
You enjoy acquiring new knowledge and learning new skills.
You can prioritize projects and are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, with excellent communication skills.
You are a problem solver with strong analytical ability, creativity, and a focus on customer and business needs.
You demonstrate commitment and ownership, with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
You are open to change and willing to ask questions when unsure.
You excel as a team player, effectively communicating technical concepts to both peers and those with limited technical backgrounds, while contributing positively to the team environment.
