What we offer

To mitigate the threats presented to a connected autonomous vehicle, we as Volvo Cars have a solid foundation of competence within our very dedicated Cyber security team. You will become a member of an agile development team with great team spirit. Volvo Cars have a holistic approach to in-vehicle security, spanning the complete vehicle lifecycle, involving technology for protection and detection, as well as threat intelligence and incident response. Due to your contributions to the area you will be recognized as an important player in the Security field.  

We are now looking for a Cyber Security Process Developer with experience from organizational development and project management. In your role, you will act as a transformation engine ready to meet the challenges ahead of us and work proactively with upcoming legislation and standards within the area of Cyber Security.

What you’ll do
Your main task will be to, together with our team, develop the VCC process in the area of Cyber security including cooperation with other process areas within VCC and to continuously implement needed way-of-working into the organization and into the Business Management System of VCC. With business insight, you will have the opportunity to create your own roadmap within the area.

You will lead projects for continuous implementation and roll-outs of new standards and legislations and provide best practice insights and process capabilities. You will also participate in the Pre- and Post-PI planning to define the inputs, milestones, and high-level objectives.

You and your skills
You have experience of developing and implementing processes within the automotive industry, you are experienced in Project Management and possess skills in change management as well as the ability to develop/transform processes to be flexible and scalable for the future. You create clarity, show courage and empower teams. You are humble with a willingness to evolve within the given role.  

We believe that you have a M.Sc. or B.Sc. degree in the area of business development or Software, Electrical or Computer engineering, or equivalent education or experience. Further we see that you have a strong interest of the cyber security threat landscape of a connected device and the mitigation mechanisms needed for protection. With this interest you are able to use and expand your technical insights and to build and maintain a network that includes people from all areas in the company. 

You are experienced with agile development and you have a proactive approach with ability to prioritize, ensure ownership and drive results without having all facts at hand before you start. In previous roles, you have experience from working in cross-functional environments where you handled a wide range of activities in parallel involving multiple stakeholders and cultures. You need to be fluent in English, both in written and oral form.

We would prefer if you have the competence to examine security from a holistic view, including threat modelling, risk, and vulnerability assessment as well as if you possess a driver’s license A for motor vehicles.
