Volvo Cars has an ambition to be the leading car manufacturer within Connectivity, Electrification and Shared Mobility. To do this, Cybersecurity (CS) is of outmost importance to our products and we intend to comply with the ISO PAS 21434 Road vehicles - Cybersecurity standard and the UN ECE R155 legal requirement. At Quality we are responsible for CS assessment and audit and we are now establishing this competence area. 

We are looking for a Cybersecurity Assessor to grow our in-house assessment capability. You will report to the Director Audits & Assessments and evaluate the achieved level of CS for the full lifecycle of our products. The team is also responsible for audit and assessment of Functional Safety.

What you’ll do
As a CS Assessor you will be responsible for assessing the CS of a product according to ISO PAS 21434 (i.e. assess achieved level of CS for a complete product) by reviewing the CS related design documentation and verifying that ISO PAS 21434 requirements are fulfilled. Audit of the CS management system is also part of the responsibility.

You will also:
* Conduct the confirmation measures required for the CS Assessment
* Together with Cybersecurity team and external contacts, improve the knowledge and understanding around ISO PAS 21434 within Volvo Cars
* CS assessment planning and reporting of results (recommending acceptance, conditional acceptance or rejection of the achieved Cybersecurity) 
* CS Audit of the CS management system and its processes


Who you are
To be a fit for this position you have a M.Sc. in Electrical engineering, Mechatronics, Automation control or similar competence through other education and /or professional experience. We think you have around five years’ experience from development of electronics and software systems, preferable with a combination of functional-, system-, hardware and software development and around three years of experience from CS engineering, preferably within Automotive or other relevant areas (IT, Telecom etc.). You possess in depth knowledge of ISO PAS 21434 and its application or other relevant standards as of above.

You also have experience from working with assessment methodology as well as working in product development process. You are fluent in English, both written and spoken
