Cybersecurity Architects

Are you passionate about cybersecurity and want to join a global and tech savvy business with an ambitious cybersecurity agenda? Then we’re eager to hear from you as we’re hiring two new Cybersecurity Architects for our Cybersecurity Defense Center within Sandvik IT.

We need motivated people with great team working skills, solution-oriented mindsets and broad business acumen. Being able to interpret business needs and explain complex concepts will make you excel in this role as you work closely with teams across the organization to provide advice and guidance in the technical field of security. You’re a subject matter expert and have a genuine interest in cybersecurity - bringing both sound security architecture experience and drive to keep our momentum within cybersecurity.

To succeed in this position, you need a number of years professional experience from cybersecurity during which you have gained an amount of integrity in your professional role. You have a good understanding of how to model threats and risks as well as the controls necessary to mitigate them, on both an organizational and technical level. You’re self-organized and structured, and you have good communication and social skills. You also need good Swedish and English skills, verbally and in writing.

The team
As digital disruption and new technology sweeps through the manufacturing industry, our Cybersecurity Defense Center is one of the key players in creating a risk-aware and safe journey into the future. Together we ensure a solid digital defense and guide the business in how to be prepared and best meet the ever-changing nature of this field. In this position, you’ll be joining a team of technical experts responsible for detection and response.

Your job
You’re the trusted architect that brings Cybersecurity engineering and advisory services to Sandvik’s entities globally, and you keep a business-focused approach in all of your work. Together with your team, you provide best practices on how to implement and sustain security practices, processes, and technologies - balancing business requirements with information and security requirements. Assessing and identifying security design gaps in existing and proposed architectures, you recommend changes or enhancements to existing processes and systems. You have a growth mindset and naturally, you stay on top of emerging trends and new technologies, and how it can be applied to best support the business.

You’ll have flexible working conditions, but for this job, your base is in Kista, Stockholm. Some travel is normally included to meet with our global stakeholders and get a deeper knowledge of their security needs.
