We are the Electric Propulsion System Architecture team, a part of Volvo Group Trucks Technology’s Electromobility organization. Our responsibility is to create the Electromobility System Architecture for our new Zero Emission products.
We work as a team to evolve system and software architecture, cybersecurity and functional safety via strategy, tactics, and operational support. Our team is expanding with a Cybersecurity Engineer, that can develop security concepts, update cybersecurity management processes and handle penetration tests through a broad understanding of the electronic system functionalities and its interdependencies.
The Electromobility department combines the benefits of a large international company with the feeling of working at a small company. There is close collaboration between different parts of the organization from sales and purchasing to workshops and labs all located in the modern, inspiring facility CampX.

Who are you?
To be successful in this position you need to be a team player with strong collaboration/networking skills and have an analytic mindset of a true problem solver. You also need to be open-minded, self-motivated, and meticulous with independent critical thinking in your problem-solving approach. You have experience from Cyber Security in automotive industry, system development, software development with great attitude and willingness to learn and take more responsibility with time in practical automotive applications.
You have worked with identification and management of cyber security risks and development of security requirements including monitoring and detection of cyber security attacks.
In addition, we believe you have the following:
Master of Science in Computer engineering, electrical engineering and Electronics engineering or similar.
Min. 5 years’ experience in System Engineering for real time embedded systems
Understanding of upcoming Cyber Security regulations (UNECE R155) and standards (ISO/SAE 21434 Road vehicles — Cybersecurity engineering)
Experience from performing Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment and have been part of the Cyber security concept phase.
Skilled and experienced in Agile development and principles.
Fluent in both written and spoken English.
Merit
Automotive experience, TargetLink, C/C++, Embedded SW/HW, C/D, CAN, LIN, ISO 26262, J1939, Autosar.
