The Cybersecurity Incident Responder will be responsible for investigating cybersecurity incidents that impact our clients´s supply chain and internal systems. This role requires a fundamental understanding of cybersecurity principles, a commitment to staying updated on industry best practices, and the ability to adapt and learn quickly.
Key Responsibilities:
• Receive and respond to notifications of cybersecurity incidents from various sources, such as the SOC team.
• Investigate the impact of cybersecurity incidents on our clients´ operations, data privacy, intellectual property, and other relevant areas.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and remediate security vulnerabilities in the event of internal cybersecurity incidents.
• Document all incident response activities and produce comprehensive incident reports.
• Stay up to date with the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and best practices through ongoing training and education.
• Develop, train, and coach the organization´s community on incident procedures and response methods.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor´s degree in Network & Cyber Security, related field or equivalent work experience.
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts and principles.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in the field
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to evolving cybersecurity threats.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience in incident response or a related field.
• Experience from SOC is a plus.
• Industry certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or equivalent are a bonus.
• Knowledge of supply chain cybersecurity is advantageous.
