Cylindrical Equipment Specialist

Northvolt has several exciting job offer for an experienced Cylindrical Equipment Specialist to join our passionate team in Västerås.
In joining us you will play an important part in building the Test Facilities for one of the first large scale European battery factories. Northvolt will play an important role in the transformation to a carbon free society.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Communication and interaction with process/mechanical/maintenance engineers to troubleshoot, improve, upgrade, design or fix the R&D cylindrical (RDC) equipment
Equipment documentation expert (assist maintenance and engineering teams with questions or needs for documentation, assist in writing technical documentation, and work with suppliers to improve and expand upon documentation)
Communication and discussions with the RDC equipment suppliers
FAT & SAT participation for RDC equipment, overseeing installation of machinery and equipment, visits to suppliers´ sites, optimization and calibration of the RDC equipment in-line
Contribution and improvement to the RDC production workflows
Contribution to development of new generation of the RDC equipment and prototyping solution



Skills & Requirements
Bachelor's degree in an engineering or technical field
2+ years working as a technician or similar with pilot scale cylindrical equipment.
Excellent communication skills as well as a bold proactiv working style
Excellent English written and oral skills are required
