Danish speaking Linguist

TELUS International is looking for Danish Linguists to join our Artificial Intelligence team as language consultants!

The work will be done on a remote freelance basis so your location does not usually matter. We have different types of short and long-term projects mainly requiring part-time availability. There is flexibility with the working hours.
When joining a project of ours, you can be involved in such as:
tasks covering the target language’s written and spoken modality differences which will be used to support and improve AI-led conversational interfaces – virtual assistants.
other kinds of tasks depending on the current projects and needs!

Nice to have
Idiomatic fluency in the target language: Danish
Good understanding of spoken and written modality differences of the target language, or target language variant if applicable
Fluency in English
Degree in linguistics; knowledge of different linguistic subfields a plus
Adjudication and quality assessment on natural utterances in spoken and written modalities
Comprehensive QA reporting, including threshold metrics for locale naturalness
Semantic annotation
Data curation, management and delivery
Ability to work with data sets in Excel and CSV formats
Python script execution is a plus
Excellent verbal and written communication, team player mentality, collaborative in nature, attention to detail, and proven ability to manage priorities.
