Data & AI Product Owner

We are looking for a Data & AI Product Owner to join our Data and Machine Learning team at Lendo. As a Data & AI Product Owner, you will play a key role in accelerating our value-creation from data & AI. You will work closely with data scientists, ML engineers, and business stakeholders to identify new opportunities for data & AI, translate the use cases into technical work that the team can effectively work on, and drive the development of the use cases.

Key responsibilities:

Identification and Management of Data & AI use cases: Work closely with business leaders, data scientists etc. to identify and prioritise high potential data and AI use cases, define requirements, and ensure successful execution. Conduct business case analysis to evaluate the monetary potential and feasibility of data and AI initiatives.

Product Strategy, Vision, and Roadmap Development: Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy for data and AI initiatives. Create and maintain a data and AI product roadmap, outlining initiatives, releases, and timelines.

Project Management: Oversee planning, execution, and delivery of a portfolio of data & AI initiatives.

Technical Leadership & Support: Provide technical support to data scientists, assisting them when they encounter challenges or roadblocks during model development.

Performance Tracking: Define and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of data and AI products.

Data analysis: Conduct data analysis to identify issues and improvement possibilities as input to decision-making related to data and AI initiatives. Present findings from model discovery work to non-technical stakeholders.

Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies in data and AI, and assess their potential impact on our business.

Documentation: Prepare documentation, including requirements for initiatives and technical specifications (e.g. metrics and methods for evaluating models).

Stakeholder Communication: Keep stakeholders informed of progress, changes, and challenges, and ensure alignment with business goals.


Qualifications:

Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, Business, Finance).

Proven experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager with a focus on data and AI.

Strong business acumen and technical knowledge within data, analytics, and ML.

Ability to translate business ideas into concrete data & AI initiatives that the team can work on.

Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities.

Excellent project management and organisational skills.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to details.

Thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is used to working with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).

Ability to communicate findings and recommendations from exploratory technical work to non-technical stakeholders is a great advantage.

Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, Tableau, and machine learning is a significant advantage
