This is a consulting assignment where you will be employed through us at Wrknest and work at Volvo Cars. You have a good chance of being employed by Volvo Cars after the consulting assignment.

Volvo Cars is on an ambitious journey to redefine the customer experience in automotive through digital technology. One success factor is to continuously get fast feedback, from our consumers and cars, on our products and services. For this purpose, our customers of our Volvo Cars Co-Development car fleet (CoDev) play a major role.

Our department, Product Validation and Functional Architecture, enable consumer data driven insights within the company, in order to understand and confirm consumer value for future and current products. This is done by refining data from Co-Development platform and by developing tools that enable data collection and visualization.

We are also managing the Co-Development car fleet including the fleet handling process as well as securing driver communication & engagement and managing the CoDev portal App.

What you will do

As a Data Analysis Engineer, you will be part of the CoDev Data Team and you are expected to understand consumer experience. You will work with the development of a backend system for data-driven decisions by making large and/or complex data more accessible, understandable, and usable within the organization. You will enable an excellent data analytics experience by transforming and integrating data according to the organization’s requirements. You will also combine the data results across different data sources and deliver data, and visualize it, in an appealing format for organizational users.

You will work in close collaboration with Data Engineers, Data Analysis Engineers, Data Scientists, and architects in the development of products and platforms.

Who we believe you are

We aim to develop products that are scalable. You are comfortable in a wide variety of system and software development disciplines, including programming, system design and interfacing with databases. Python and SQL are the main staples in our work.

You have an analytical mindset and experience in data visualization building dashboards and interactive graphs such as Power BI. It is an asset if you have previous experience from applying a wide range of statistical techniques to large data sets or machine learning.

You enjoy the complexity of data engineering and data insights, as well as you have a genuine interest for user experience, engagement and communication. You take responsibility for how the problems of our stakeholders can be translated into providing data to our stakeholders.

You have a MSc degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent area, as well as fluent in English.

Form of employment: Consulting assignment, full-time 40h/week
