Sandvik Mining is a business area within the Sandvik Group and a leading global supplier of equipment and tools, service and technical solutions for the mining industry. The offerings cover rock drilling, rock cutting, rock crushing, loading and hauling and materials handling.
Rock Tools will act as supplier to the Sandvik Mining Customer Segments of parts, tools and components (e.g. Tophammer Tools, DTH tools, Rotary Tools, Cutting&Bolting and Drill pipes).
In this role, you and your team will be responsible for all services linked to the Global Operations processes within the division of the organization in which you will be active. The overall goal of the department is to identify, develop and implement the best possible solutions internally within the organization and towards customers, and to work in line with current business needs to constantly improve cost efficiency and quality.
Key performance areas
You will work in a modern and complex planning tool and you will also work in various internal ERP systems. You will work operationally in the systems to produce data analysis and reports for supporting process improvements. The role also includes working with daily internal support within the system. You will work in a global organization and be part of a team of five people. The team works in close collaboration with the process owners within the organization and with a lot of support from IT developers.
Your profile
We see that you have a post-secondary education in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Industrial Economics or equivalent experience and expertise from previous work. Since you will be working in a global environment, it is important that you can communicate freely in English in both verbal and writing. International experience is a merit to have. You also have the habit of working with different business systems and have an easy time getting into new IT environments. Working towards goals and results is something that comes naturally to you.
