What you will be doing
Within the Business Intelligence team, you will get the opportunity to shape the way Instabox uses data to effectively operate our business, which in turn will allow the rest of the company to make better decisions.

Responsibilities:

- Working on requests from senior business stakeholders, typically on small projects
- Developing user-friendly report content for the business
- Using Tableau to create striking visualizations
- Continuously analyzing and improving our reporting portfolio
- Ensuring that the content shared with the business is accurate and of high quality
- Supporting core business processes and helping promote improved data literacy throughout Instabox


The role focuses primarily on working with business stakeholder challenges, using your skills as a data professional. Your output over time should lead to other employees being able to make better decisions. Business Intelligence is a support function to our lead business functions, where the Data Analyst is a key role. Not only will you help Instabox deliver insight, your work should also help inspire others to become interested in using data in their own roles..

Further, a Data Analyst at Instabox is expected to develop user-friendly BI reports that will not only service business needs but also use reusable data models that we can offer as part of a self-service first strategy. You will work within the BI team alongside our engineering analysts to develop these data models.

Who you are
Someone who likes to work with an incomplete picture and abstract ideas:

- You enjoy taking your own initiative and finding solutions to problems without being asked
- You question what already exists
- You have strong verbal and written communication skills. English is a must.
- You have a strong business drive and technical understanding
- You have strong SQL and data modelling experience
- You understand the value of good visual design and what types of visualizations best suit different types of data and business processes
- You focus on user adoption and seek improvements on how content is being interacted with
