The Data Analyst is responsible for acting as a subject matter expert in all aspects of business requirements, data availability and data quality of the enterprise data warehouse. As Data Analyst at Ikano Bank you will join a team of highly dedicated colleagues who all work towards the vision of delivering Enterprise Data for Regulatory reporting, Analytics and Management Information, accurately and on-time, across Ikano Bank, to partners and authorities.

Key Responsibilities

- Act as the subject matter expert on data availability and data quality within Ikano’ s Enterprise Data Warehouse

- In your role as subject matter expert, take lead in projects and change requests work performing requirements analysis

- Analyze requirements from external stakeholders like authorities or auditors including attribute level requirements mapping

- Detail requirements specifications according to output from requirements analysis as input to data warehouse development or report development

- Undertake data analysis and profiling to support the enterprise data quality monitoring and reporting solution

- Support Ikanos Data Governance work with data quality analysis, data profiling, reports and metrics

- Monitor reconciliation reporting for the enterprise Data Warehouse and initiate appropriate actions when required

Professional skills

• Excellent proficiency in SQL
• Experience working with Oracle is beneficial
• Experience working with the Informatica suite is beneficial

• Excellent communication skills
• Good people skills and the ability to engage with business stakeholders
• Good documentation skills
• Able to work both individually and in teams
• Structured, analytical and accurate
• Fluent in English

Experience

• Extensive experience of working with data analysis and profiling
• Min 3 years’ banking industry experience
• Min 3 years data warehouse experience
• Min 2 years’ experience working with regulatory authority requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in Computer Engineering or Informatics and/or Business Administration or similar
