Data Analyst
The Data Analyst is accountable for ensuring data needs for business units are fit for purpose and accurate. Also to analyze business and technical requirements, translates these into data requirements and facilitate implementation of these together with the data architecture and engineering team
Responsibilities:
Data structure-, transformation-& modeling
—Analyzes Functional and Non-Functional data requirements, and translates these into data requirements
—Design a logical flow to meet the data requirements, including:
•Defines the various versions/incarnations of the data during its lifecycle (e.g. raw, formatted conform dimension, mapped, subsets or filtered data) including what sources are to be used, and describes what transformation logic must be applied, defining data lineage in the process
•Describes the data content in the form of logical data models, down to the level of detail needed to ensure requirements are met
•Discuss and Identify decided source for each of the system and available integration methods
•Ensures functional and non-functional requirements are met with support from data architecture team, e.g. access management, performance, data privacy, data quality, refresh rates, retention policies etc.
—Validates data requirements with SPOCS in iterative manner, Prepare detail data requirement needs and support Data Architecture team.
—Partner with Business Analyst to support initial data requirements, gap analysis and documentation aspects
—Validate if data requirements are met along with Data Architect and Engineering team
