Are you the Data Analyst that will take us into the Future?

While the performance culture is stronger and more important than ever we need to secure that Group Trucks Purchasing will transform into the future. We are looking for a colleague that has a strong mindset of change and the ability to see what it takes to get there.

In this role, it is important to understand the vision and objectives of the organization and the changes needed in Group Trucks Purchasing to fully support this journey.

The ability to measure data quality, understand complex IT-infrastructure and be able to take actions is crucial.

As Data Analyst, you need to understand the needs from various stakeholders and formulate the business needs in terms of advanced analytics terminology.

To succeed in this role, it is of great importance to understand and communicate with the business stakeholders and make sure to secure changes to create value for the business.

Main responsibilities:
Measure data quality “completeness, consistency, validity, uniqueness, timeliness, accuracy”
Develop and implement Data Analytics methodologies to assist in problem solving, in making forecasts and predictions
Build information entities and data sets
Extract and structure data using specialized analytics tools and use it to analyze opportunities defined by the business
Analyze extracted data and come up with solution requirements
Create reports and presentations to visualize information (e.g., PowerBI)
Responsible for analytics assignment, from data and business value exploration
Build expertise in data sources to find, manage and simplify complex data
Integrate data and Supply Chain knowledge to build cases and convey insights
Suggest improvement proposals, towards local and global organization
Support the strategic roadmap for both analytics methods and the future tools & platforms
Contribute to solving complex challenges in the areas of data mining and optimization
Actively find new ways to support purchasing to improve existing data structure


Required Skills:
Degree in computer science, engineering, statistics, mathematics or similar
Data analytics experience in automotive industry related to Purchasing and supply chain domain is an added advantage
Ability to use descriptive statistical methods (distribution, regression, classification, statistical tests, ...)
Exposure to visualization tools, (e.g., PowerBI, Qlikview)
Sharp analytic and logical mindset and effective problem solving
Ability to effectively translate business problems into technical solutions
Creativity and innovative thinking reframing traditional patterns of thinking and applying new and evolving ideas, methods, designs, and technologies
Experience of working in Agile methodology environment is preferred
Ability to deliver concrete results with speed
Good communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work in a flexible environment and to adapt to changes
