WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
You’ll be part of the transformation of IKEA into a more data driven company by extracting and sharing insights from data that reinforce, alter, or largely impact present and future decisions on business and product strategy, leading to a better shopping experience for our customers.
You will work to ensure that the right people in our global organization have access to the right information at the right time. You will collaborate with colleagues such as data engineers and business analysts to build solutions that bring data from operational IT systems and transform it into actionable business insights.
Our area, Order Management, is responsible for the complete life cycle of fulfilment orders, and we generate vast amounts of data on our global fulfilment operations. With this data, we provide insights to local markets and global functions on e.g. order delivery flows, cancellations, return operations, order success rate, and open orders, all with the purpose of improving customer experience, operational cost, and sustainability.
OUR TEAM WITHIN IKEA AND WHAT WE OFFER
IKEA has long been a global leader in home furnishing. We are proud of our vision to improve the everyday life of the many people. But our industry is quickly changing, and we need to adapt to stay competitive.
As part of IKEA’s journey to strengthen our digital capabilities, we are building a global Data & Analytics function. This function is working on problems across the company, ranging from customer modelling, pricing, online shopping, visual intelligence to logistics optimisation.
As part of the Order Management domain, you will be instrumental in our effort to take advantage of the data within customer fulfilment to improve operations in terms of customer experience, cost, and sustainability. This will allow us to become even better and enable a unique omnichannel customer experience.
We see many opportunities for what we can accomplish and have the ambition to be a world class team. At the same time, we believe that our work is not just about building things, but also about learning and having fun together.
We can offer you:
• Very interesting challenges and opportunities.
• Work that will have global impact on customer satisfaction, costs, and sustainability.
• A flexible, collaborative and friendly working environment.
• A team of great colleagues to learn with and from (with world-class experience across all aspects of Data & Analytics).
• Continuous learning (we aim to spend 20% of our working time on learning).
