Who you are
We are looking for a Data Analyst to join us in creating value all along our customer’s payment journey by using data and analytics within crossfunctional teams.


This role is part of Selling and Payments Insights within Digital Channel & Commerce team, and we would love to talk with you, if you recognize yourself in some of the following:
• passionate about understanding business problems and applying data analytics to solve them.
• have experience in developing data and statistics-driven solutions for real-life business problems.
• love being creative through code (SQL is a must, Python a welcome addition)
• can formulate hypotheses from the data you use. • love (data) storytelling and use visualizations of data to explain facts.
• are experienced in developing easy-to-use BI dashboards in different tools (Power BI, Looker Studio...)
• have a strong background in math, computer science, engineering or equivalent (at least MS or equivalent)
• have experience leading the development of advanced analytics frameworks within large organizations.
• have experience working in some of the following areas: customer analytics, personalization, payment analytics, online customer journeys, etc. (ideally in a retail setting.)
• someone who is in love with exploring the challenges and redefining how customers pay online and use their prepaid cards.
• are a team player who takes ownership, builds cross-functional relationships with peers, and loves sharing data knowledge with other coworkers. • proactively manage relevant stakeholders and/or teams to drive an intended outcome.
• are curious, self-directed and want to keep learning!

What you'll be doing day to day
You’ll play a vital role in the transformation of IKEA’s online payment and prepaid journey with a more data-driven approach by ensuring that data insights becomes a natural part of the organizational workflow and impact present and future decisions on business and payment product strategy.
This means:-
• Find metrics / build KPI framework to better understand IKEA’s online payments and prepaid payments landscape, thus monitoring the impact on business.
• Explore payments & prepaid (gift cards, refund cards), data to find challenges and translate them into potential opportunities by forming a hypothesis.
• Support data engineers, data scientists to build simplified, easy-to-use, payments data products for various coworkers.
• Generate actionable insights to help your stakeholders make better-informed decisions.
• Create presentations in a real storytelling mode that inspire stakeholders.

Our team within IKEA
You will work in Data & Analytics team together with other Data Analysts, Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Data Stewards, ML Engineers and Data Architects. Together you will be joining cross-functional teams consisting of colleagues from Technology, Product and Design, that design, implement and deploy products that help to solve these kinds of problems. It will be a mix of product insights, data visualization and writing code – as well as talking with product owners and business stakeholders.
