What we do:
Media Insights team is focused on providing data-driven insights and support to help News media brands and product teams make more informed decisions.
We provide comprehensive support throughout the entire data analysis process, from data collection and cleaning, to modelling, analysis, and reporting. Our team of experts provides guidance on how to best leverage data to achieve your business objectives.
We learn and grow together through code reviews, pair programming, company-wide hackathons, and a learning platform. Every second Friday, we dedicate 10% of our time to innovation and skill development. Our technology stack is designed for flexibility and ease of use. Our primary data storage solution is Snowflake, and we offer a wide range of tools to work with your data, including SQL, Python and R. To make the most of our infrastructure, we also use various AWS services and advanced data transformation tools like dbt. Plus, our data visualisation capabilities are second to none, with tools like Tableau at your fingertips.
About you:
We are now looking for a data analyst who is passionate about using data to drive business outcomes and has a desire to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Experience with data analysis tools and techniques, including SQL

Familiarity with AWS services and data transformation tools like dbt

Experience with data visualisation tools like Tableau

Understanding of statistical analysis and modelling principles

Good communication skills, with the ability to clearly and effectively communicate complex data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Good understanding of A/B testing

Experience with Python, R, or other data analysis programming languages is a plus

Product & Tech is responsible for product development and technology platforms for News Media brands. The unit consists of product managers, software engineers, UX experts, and user researchers. Most of our teams work distributed, with colleagues in Oslo, Stockholm, Krakow, Gdansk, Bergen, and Stavanger.
