Job Description


As an analyst at the Laboratory, you will work in a multi-competence team consisting of data scientists, engineers, researchers, project managers and business developers with focus on generating outside-in perspectives and testing new ideas to generate business benefit. Your mission is to support the team with data interpretation and analysis to ensure we are generating actionable insights for our business. You have experience from working with a wide range of data sources, and you are happy to give input and can quickly see key patterns that can make a difference for our business. You have a good understanding of business and some of the key opportunities and challenges our industry faces.
Your main responsibilities are:
Proactively identifying new or existing data sources to be used for each process, decision or question, and evaluating benefits, risks and potential other applications of such data sources.
Develop reports, mainly in Power BI, to support and communicate insights and further the development of data products.
Support in analysis and verification of data model output and work with data scientists to improve accuracy of models
Spotting signals and connecting the dots to identify trends and relevant emerging areas to explore
Taking wide ranges of inputs and data points and using visualization tools to create clear, concise and actionable analyses that will be used to inform stakeholders across the organization



Qualifications


Between 3-6 years of working experience in an analyst role that has required a strong analytical mindset and outstanding problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills, being able to present and explain data and its implications to various stakeholders​ in a clear and engaging way
Experience with data visualization tools e.g., Power BI
Experience with programming languages such as SQL, R, or Python
A self-driven, creative problem solver who is motivated to work and take decisions independently, while also contributing to the development of our processes and way-of-working
Academic degree within Business, Economics, Engineering (or similar)
Fluent in English (written and spoken)
