About the role
We are now looking for a Data Analyst in our new organization Business Tech – in the product area Inventory Optimization within the Customer Fulfilment domain. As a Data Analyst, you will work in a cross-functional, multi-competence product team consisting of Engineers and Business Experts. Your mission is to support the team with data as well as business analyses to ensure software solutions are generating actionable and value-enhancing results for our customers and business.
Your insights will drive decision making within the order sourcing and availability processes together with the product Order Fulfilment. You will belong to a product but work much independently together with stakeholders from other products and divisions.
In Order Fulfilment the mission is to optimize the sourcing logic to enable increased availability for the online customer, making products available when and where the customer want it. The sourcing logic steers from which Distribution Center (DC) an online order shall be sent, balancing warehouse capacity, sustainability, cost and speed. With the rapid evolution of the supply chain, and new requirements towards multi-channel fulfilment criteria and the customer experience we need to develop our capabilities to meet future fulfilment needs.
You have a strong customer focus, a strong commercial mindset and innate curiosity. You will work with large data sets to analyze information, visualize ideas and make recommendations for the future. Since you will handle a lot of complex data, it is important that you possess the ability to transform it into an easily understandable format for a variety of stakeholders.
As a Data Analyst you have great analytical skills, believe in a non-hierarchical culture of collaboration, transparency, safety, and trust. Our focus is on value creation, growth, and serving customers with full ownership and accountability to deliver exceptional customer and business results.
Responsibilities
• Empower stakeholders to improve the customer value through expert analyses of various types of customer data
• Analyze and help designing best logic and algorithms for order fulfillment strategy
• Advocate data-driven decision making through for example experimentation and other quantitative analysis
• Be the go-to persons for analysis within the order fulfilment and availability area
• Design and visualize the products KPIs and present the what, why and how to improve these
• Support in analysis and verification of model output to improve accuracy of model
• Identify commercial opportunities leveraging data and models
• Provide data insights for technical solutions and system improvements to improve the customer experience based on interpretations
• Support the Product Owner in setting the roadmap and strategy for the product team through data-driven insights
We are looking for you with
• 4+ years of hands-on work experience as a business analyst, data analyst, controller (or equivalent) preferably within retail, supply chain or similar
• A strong motivation to work in an environment that allows you to work and take decisions independently
• Good knowledge of data-querying using SQL
• The ability to analyze very large amounts of data into clear insights
• An analytical, creative and curious mindset in combination with a strong foundation in statistical methods and data processing
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain data and its implications to a big group of stakeholders
• Experience in data visualization, preferably with excellent knowledge of Power BI or Microsoft Excel
• A proven track record of delivering great results
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written
• Strong in prioritization, execution, and follow-up skills together with a “can-do attitude”
• A strong customer focus and commercial mindset
It is a benefit if you have one or more of the following:
• Knowledge and track record from working with SAP and/or Azure
• Experience of – and/or high interest in - working with advanced analytics and AI or forecasting methodologies
• Experience of agile development methodologies
• Experience in supply chain, retail and/or stock management
