About the role


We are now looking for a Data Analyst in our new organization Business Tech – in the product area Allocation Precision within the Customer Fulfilment domain.


As a Data Analyst, you will work in a cross-functional, multi-competence product team consisting of engineers, data scientists and business experts. Your mission is to support the team with data as well as business analyses to ensure AI -and software solutions are generating actionable and value-enhancing results for our customers and business.
Your insights will drive AI supply chain logics that will direct our products from supplier to end customer in the most efficient and sustainable way possible. You have a strong customer focus, a strong commercial mindset and innate curiosity. You will work with multiple advanced analytics tools to analyse, execute and follow up initiatives from idea to industrialization with both analysis of model output and designing of new ways of working.
You will work closely with different departments within H&M and you will play an important role in developing critical business processes as well as handling forecasts, budgets and performance analyses. Since you will handle a lot of complex data, it is important that you possess the ability to transform it into an easily understandable format for a variety of stakeholders.

Responsibilities
Empower stakeholders to improve the customer value through expert analyses of various types of customer data
Advocate data-driven decision making through for example experimentation and other quantitative analysis
Design advanced analytics solutions together with business stakeholders and product/analytics teams to maximize impact; function as the link and catalyst
Pressure-test algorithms from a business logic perspective and develop value-proofs/ business cases
Support in analysis and verification of model output and work with data scientists to improve accuracy of model
Design new ways of working and support roll-out to the organisation
Identify commercial opportunities leveraging data and models.
Develop calculation mechanisms to ensure real-time data collection of customer behaviour
Provide data insights for technical solutions and system improvements to improve the customer experience based on interpretations
Be part of designing AI solutions together with business stakeholders and the product team to maximize business impact
Lead specific development topics, as well as specific agile ceremonies
Support the Product Owner in setting the roadmap and strategy for the product team through data-driven insights



We are looking for you with
An analytical, creative and curious mindset in combination with a strong foundation in statistical methods and data processing
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain data and its implications to various stakeholders
The ability to analyse large amounts of data into clear insights
The ability to translate business requirements into analytical requirements
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Business, Business Engineering, Economics, Data Analytics, Data Science or similar
2+ years of work experience as a business analyst, data analyst, controller (or equivalent) preferably within retail, supply chain or similar
Good knowledge of data-querying using SQL
Experience in data visualization, preferably with excellent knowledge of Power BI or Tableau as well as Microsoft Excel
Proficiency in Python or R preferably
Experience of – and/or high interest in - working with advanced analytics and AI or technical product development
A proven track record of delivering great results
Strong in prioritisation, execution, and follow-up skills together with a “can-do attitude”
A strong motivation to work in an environment that allows you to work and take decisions independently
A strong customer focus and commercial mindset
Experience or knowledge of result focused and agile development methodologies
Fluency in English, both spoken and written
