Job Description


Are you interested in working with data analysis and business intelligence within optimizing store and logistic solutions? The product area Inventory Optimization is now looking for an additional Data Analyst to join our team.


The role


As a Data Analyst you will work as a key enabler to secure realization of business and customer value from analytics, data and models in our products. You have a strong customer focus, a commercial mindset and innate curiosity. At Business Tech you will get the opportunity to work in a large organization, which heavily relies on making data driven decisions.
The Data Analyst has great analytical skills, believes in a non-hierarchical culture of collaboration, transparency, safety, and trust. Focus is on value creation, growth, and serving customers with full ownership and accountability to deliver exceptional customer and business results.
You will be working close with Product Owners, Business Experts and Software Engineers in one or several products, in an agile environment.


Responsibilities


Empower stakeholders to improve the customer value through expert analysis of various types of data
Design new ways of working and support roll-out to the organization
Identify commercial opportunities leveraging data and models
Analyze data using the latest web analytics and business intelligence techniques
Provide data insights for technical solutions and system improvements to improve the customer experience based on interpretations
Implement tools (e.g., Power BI or web-analysis dashboards) that help data consumers to extract, analyze, and visualize data faster and better through data pipelines



Skills


As a Data Analyst, we believe you are communicative, social, open, and full of drive and optimism. You have a robust analytical ability with an eye for change and improvement opportunities. Furthermore, we believe you have:
At least 2 years of experience from data analysis, data engineering or similar
Understanding of using numerical, statistical and analytical methods to apply to data processing
Ability to analyze large amounts of data into clear insights
Strong communication skills and an ability to communicate and explain data and its implications to various stakeholders
Ability to define and align assignments with the strategic goals of the business
Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
Be a team player as well as be able to work independent and take own initiatives
Experience and/or interest in technical product development
Fluent in English (written and spoken)

It is a big plus if you have one or more of the following:
Experience in working with programming languages such as SQL
Experience in working with data visualization tools e.g. Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, Data Studio
Agile methods
