DATA ANALYST TO JOIN OUR BI TEAM IN STOCKHOLM

ALTEN SWEDEN IS EXPANDING INTO THE BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE AREA AND WE ARE NOW LOOKING FOR A DATA ANALYST TO OUR GROWING BI TEAM IN STOCKHOLM!

Do you have experience in interpreting data and analyzing results using statistical techniques? Are you an analytical thinker with strong problem solving skills ready to help our costumers with their decision making strategies? AS A DATA ANALYST YOU WILL BE PART IN BUILDING BI WITH US AT ALTEN AND YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Transforming business questions using your data visualization and reporting skills to develop reports and metrics to present actionable insights
Analyzing data from multiple sources, large data sets relating to whatever data the customer has, such as sales, financial, pricing, products/assortment, customers, competitors, HR, CRM, marketing, social media feeds etc.
Getting involved in the whole analysis process, meaning extracting, cleaning, sampling, analyzing and presenting data
Be the analytics expert in cross-functional projects and initiatives
Supporting our customers functions with advanced analyses
Developing analysis methods and metrics
Working closely with business intelligence, IT and business development teams to continue to develop an analytics infrastructure
Developing benchmarks and best practices

 

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION
Expert in analyzing data in at least one of Excel/SAS/R/Python
Skilled in data visualization, experience with tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik or other BI tools
Skilled in working with large data sets using SQL and extracting data by writing complex queries
Confident at presenting data to non-technical people
Confident in working with ETL flows
You have an academic degree in a quantitative field, such as engineering, business, economics, finance or math/statistics
Relevant work experience as a business analyst, data analyst or similar
Confident in working with different project methods as Agile, Waterfall, RUP etc.
Confident in working with cloud based solutions, Azure, AWS, Google Cloud etc.
Confident in choosing the right analysis method and structuring your analysis
You are structured and have experience of complex engineering tasks where you have successfully applied your analytic skills
You are a self-driven team player with high ambitions
Fluent in both spoken and written English
