The Position
We are looking for a Data Analyst to join our Analytics Operations Team within the Data, Analytics & AI Organization at Volvo Group Connected Solutions. You will work together with Data Scientists and Data Engineers to lead the transition into a data driven culture, where Data, Analytics & AI/ML are an integral part in our services and internal processes. By having the responsibility all the way from raw data to actionable insights, we are at the forefront of creating value from our 1.4 million connected assets.
As a Data Analyst in our Analytics Operations team, you will act as a catalyst and take responsibility for analytics value creation in all phases; from early ideation with stakeholders to creating dashboards and data pipelines, or guiding superusers to help them create their own dashboards. We also believe that not everybody is an expert in everything, and together we tailor your role to suit your expertise, passion, and development objectives.
As we want to stay forefront, we actively encourage competence development and the acquisition of new skills. You'll have dedicated time for your own innovation projects, knowledge sharing clinics, and the ability to attend fairs or seminars. You will also work alongside experienced Data Scientists, Engineers and Analysts that allow for exceptional knowledge sharing opportunities.

We employ a hybrid working setup, combining the benefits of physical meetings with the flexibility of working remotely.
Your profile
We are looking for someone who is capable of utilizing data to drive change. We believe you are a creative and entrepreneurial problem-solver with an inquisitive attitude, capable of building approaches from scratch, including needs identification, data extraction, data transformation, data-modelling, building visuals and educating users together with the team.
When it comes to technology, you have experience of working with dashboarding tools for problem solving (PowerBI, Grafana, Qlik, Tableau, QuckSight etc.). Our main tool of choice is PowerBI, but we routinely also use other solutions if needed. We are working in a hybrid cloud Environment with both AWS (Athena, Glue, Lambdas) and Azure (Dataflows, Datamarts, PowerQuery etc.), so experience of any of these are considered a plus.
We think you are communicative and can create trust with both colleagues and stakeholders by facilitating workshops and handling project communication. And as we strive to have fun at work, humor is appreciated.
