We want you to lead Data & Analytics leaders and individual contributors to continuously drive value creation from data and analytics, and to accelerate data-driven decision making for a digital product area.
You will work collaboratively with other leaders of the digital product area (Product Manager, Product UX Design Manager and Product Engineering Manager) to define and execute the Data & Analytics strategy and roadmap within the area.

To succeed as a Data & Analytics Area Manager you will need:
Good knowledge of programming languages and modern data platforms and systems
Excellent understanding of the application of advanced analytics and data analytics in addressing and answering business questions
Good knowledge of Machine Learning and other developments in the fast-moving data technology landscape
Good knowledge of data models (e.g. hierarchical or relational) and common issues related to data quality, and how to improve them
Extensive knowledge of all steps and processes related to data-driven digital product development in which requirements and solutions evolve through the collaborative effort of self-organizing cross-functional teams
Good knowledge of the IKEA corporate identity, core values and vision of creating a better everyday life for the many people
Your responsibilities
As a Data & Analytics Area Manager you will be responsible for the overall performance of Data & Analytics within a product area, ranging from the delivery of tactical day-to-day insights, the implementation and application of Data & Analytics solutions and the definition of the Data & Analytics strategy within the area.
Amongst others you will:
Create a solidly embedded demand for Data & Analytics solutions to meet the requirements of the business in both short and long-term perspective
Proactively contribute in discussions to ensure the right data, measures and processes are implemented to make data-driven decisions that will inform the product development
Be responsible for setting the Area Data & Analytics team priorities - considering the area priorities and ensuring maximum impact - and acting as representative for all Data & Analytics aspects within the area
Be responsible for recruiting, developing and retaining resources and expertise to efficiently and consistently develop and execute the Data & Analytics strategy within the area
Provide leadership that promotes and inspires best practices in Data & Analytics – continually benchmarking against industry standards and trends
Lead, coach and develop team members to secure people development, leadership and succession and a high performing team
You are reporting to the Data & Analytics Domain Manager and the position is placed in Malmö.
